What People Say About Fire FC...

"My name is Tadd Challis. I was born and raised in St. George, Utah and was a member of the first Fire FC team. During my time on the team, I witnessed the best players from each high school switch over to Fire FC because of the quality of our team. Only after a few years of building the club, Travis Wilkinson gained a reputation in Utah similar to Coach K of Duke basketball.

In my eyes, Coach Wilkinson is the Father of club soccer in St. George. Because of his efforts, soccer in St. George has flourished and has become relevant on a statewide scale. Before then, no one thought talented players could come out of southern Utah. Now days, you can talk to any major club coach in northern Utah and they will know Travis Wilkinson and Fire FC.

Fire FC is the ideal club to play for. Coach Wilkinson is always encouraging, uplifting, and brings the best out of each player. Not only do his teams excel and win, he teaches young men character that will help shape their entire lives. With Coach Wilkinson's leadership on the field and off, I have learned life skills that helped me serve a full-time mission, marry the girl of my dreams, graduate from college, and begin raising a young son.

The lessons you will learn from Coach Wilkinson and those working with him in the club will be those of good-will, faith, and hard work. Coach Wilkinson has never been known to put down his players. He treats them all as he does his six sons; with love and respect. Not only do I say he is like a second father to me, I can confidently say that hundreds of other young men would say the same."

Connor loved playing soccer and loved scoring from a very young age. When the time came for Connor to join a Club, the obvious choice was Fire FC. Fire FC provided opportunities for Connor to practice and train at a higher level and he also was able to do personal trainings. They also provided opportunities to play in top tournaments from Park City to California. His coaches were  always very supportive and they were able to hone his skills in a way that other clubs had not done.

Danny Santos and Travis Wilkinson always encouraged him to try harder and focus on being the best soccer player and person he could be. Because of the training and encouragement Connor  received from Fire FC, Connor was able to play varsity soccer all four years of High School and was then able to move on and play soccer at Snow College.

It has all been an experience that has allowed Connor to grow and develop in a way that only comes through playing with a professionally run and involved soccer club.  We will always be grateful to the Fire FC coaches and staff for their love of soccer and their ability to develop that love and and bring out the talent in all those young athletes who desire to dream soccer!!

"Our experience with Fire was wonderful.  We so appreciated the fact that you worked hard to keep the costs reasonable.  They not only learned great skills on the soccer field but even more importantly, they learned valuable life lessons off the field. We so appreciated the mentor that Travis was to each boy. He made it a wonderful, challenging, exciting and rewarding experience for everyone. We are so grateful to have been a part of the fire family!"

"My name is Devin Bennett.  When I was growing up playing soccer in St. George Utah, competitive soccer did not have a very
big footprint in Southern Utah. Now Southern Utah boasts a thriving community of competitive soccer that has gained the respect both inside and outside of Utah.

I believe that Fire FC was the pioneer to changing competitive soccer in Southern Utah to what it is now.  I am one of the lucky few who can say they played for the first ever Fire FC team.

I still remember when I was invited by Travis Wilkinson to play for Fire FC. To this day I can honestly say that choosing to play has had the most positive impact on me out of almost any other decision I made as a young kid. This decision led to me receiving the best
soccer training that I could have asked for. I was trained by some of the best trainers and coaches in the State of Utah. As a player I was able to enjoy winning many tournaments and league championships. From the start Fire FC established a tradition of winning.

Along with improving my skills and being part of a winning program. I also learned many valuable life lessons while being a part of this great club. I was blessed to play with a diverse group of kids from many different walks of life. I learned that respect and friendship are possible no matter where you come from. The examples of my coaches and fellow players have been a shining example to me of how I want to live my life.

I would recommend Fire FC to any parent or player who is looking for a soccer club. I will always be thankful for the chance I had to be a part of this club. Shout out to all my former coaches, teammates, and friends in the Fire FC community!

"We LOVED our experience with the Fire Soccer club. The club is run efficiently and the games and tournaments were fun and competitive. Coach Trav is a master of the game but more importantly, he’s truly interested in the boys individually. Our son made lifelong friends and we have nothing but good memories of our time with Fire."

"As a mom you hope that your child will be on a team where the coach encourages and teaches in a positive manner that builds up and improves your child. Mark Hunt was that coach for my son. He helped my son believe in himself by building him up as he coached him to practice new skills and learn soccer starting from his first year of competitive soccer. Through the years Mark not only knew what to teach soccer wise but also recognized what would motivate my son and what lessons could be taught for life-like good sportsmanship, fair play, and trusting teammates. He always genuinely cared about my son as a person not just a soccer player. I am grateful for the years Mark has given to coach my son and for the type of coach he has been."
